Our vibrant, Jersey City campus has come a long way in the past decade. Plans for capital investments coupled with recent improvements to technology, facilities and infrastructure will create a better learning and living environment where Saint Peter’s students can succeed.

Elevating Our Campus

Since the quiet phase of Peacocks Rise began, Saint Peter’s has made significant strides to upgrade and renovate signature facilities. Collectively, these capital projects touch every aspect of University life.

Run Baby Run Arena

which opened in Fall 2021, has been a game changer for Athletics and the community. The Phase I renovation inside The Rev. Victor R. Yanitelli, S.J. Recreational Life Center was made largely possible by a $5 million lead gift from Tom Mac Mahon ’68. A key member of the 1968 Run Baby Run team, Mac Mahon named the facility in honor of his teammates.

The Frank J. Guarini School of Business

unveiled a modernized space to better prepare students for professional careers in Fall 2021. Thanks to a $10 million gift from Hon. Frank J. Guarini H ’94 in 2019, the lower level of Dinneen Hall underwent a major overhaul. The space now features a global finance lab, collaboration commons, new classrooms, project rooms and more.

The O’Toole Library Digital Research Commons

provides a more productive work area, designed to enrich collaboration, research and scholarship. The project was funded by the Theresa and Edward O’Toole Foundation and the George I. Alden Trust. The Digital Commons opened to students and faculty in Fall 2020.

Panepinto Hall

welcomed its first residents in Fall 2022. The apartment style residence at 762 Montgomery Street was named in honor of Joseph A. Panepinto Esq. ’66, an alumnus who has served the University selflessly for many decades with exceptional contributions of time, talent and treasure.

A New Health Sciences Center

The School of Nursing turns away qualified applicants each year because there are not enough laboratory facilities to accommodate instruction and hands-on learning. We can change that and do more by constructing a new Health Sciences Center adjacent to Rankin Hall. The capital project will advance STEM education, bolster the School of Nursing and pave the way for more patient-facing degree programs.
