Greater Distinction

Seeking More.

Jesuit education is about setting and achieving bold ambitions for our students and the University. We always seek to do and be more. Core strengths—Academics, Athletics and Ignatian Excellence—provide a firm foundation to enrich scholarship and research, further transform the student-athlete experience and better prepare Saint Peter’s graduates to lead rewarding careers and lives.

Academics

For a small university, Saint Peter’s has achieved outsized importance in so many fields: education, law, medicine, public service, data science, business and more. We can and will attain greater academic distinction by bolstering programs that attract bright, hardworking students to Saint Peter’s, and investing further in teaching and research vital to the growth and well-being of the city, state and region.

Athletics

March Madness 2022 was just the beginning! Further investments in athletics will elevate the experience of student-athletes and the campus community.

Ignatian Excellence

Ignatian excellence is more often felt than seen. That’s because Jesuit values are ingrained in everything we do. It’s embedded in the warmth students instantly feel when they arrive on campus. It manifests in the extraordinary care faculty provide to students, and in the robust Campus Ministry programming that engages people from all faiths and religious traditions. Every gift directed to the Greater Distinction priority advances the excellence Saint Peter’s seeks because it is informed by Ignatian ideals.

Great Achievements

Across the board, the stature of Saint Peter’s has grown dramatically in Academics, Athletics and in Ignatian Excellence.
