How have you decided to give back to Saint Peter’s?

I am proud to have helped establish the Charitable Gift Annuity Program at Saint Peter’s. A charitable gift annuity involves a simple contract between you and Saint Peter’s where you agree to make a gift to the University and in return the University will pay you (and someone else, if you choose) a fixed amount each year for the rest of your life. I also have a provision in my will to support the education program at Saint Peter’s.

Why did you decide to give to the University?

Giving back to Saint Peter’s gives me great satisfaction knowing that my success and accomplishments will be able to provide the support that others with limited resources or who are high achievers need to complete their degrees.

What do you hope your gift will accomplish?

I hope that my gift to the University will provide future students with the values-based Jesuit education that I received. I am hopeful that they will be able to explore their potential and develop skills that will help them achieve their goals.

What fond memories does Saint Peter’s evoke in you?

While growing up in Jersey City, I would go to the “Old Armory” with several of my buddies, who would go on to be fellow graduates at Saint Peter’s as well. We enjoyed watching and rooting for basketball coach Don Kennedy and the Peacocks. Coach Kennedy would eventually take his team to the N.I.T for five different tournaments. I think way back then, I would discover the “Jesuits” down there on the Boulevard! I would become a proud Peacock!

What would you tell someone who is considering making a gift to Saint Peter’s?

I would encourage anyone that I could that giving to Saint Peter’s provides donors with a great feeling of satisfaction. It is inspiring to make a college education possible for student recipients who would otherwise be held back by burdensome loan debt.
